Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menelaah secara mendalam adakah pengaruh positif model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa MTs. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Bilingual Sabilil Khoir yaitu siswanya sebanyak 27 siswa. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa observasi aktivitas guru sebanyak 16 indikator, observasi aktivitas siswa sebanyak 9 indikator dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebanyak 4 butir soal uraian. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa MTs dipengaruhi positif oleh model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E sebesar 42,5%, sedangkan 57,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain selain model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E.
