Abstract

ABSTRACT Muslicha.2014 Teaching Speaking Conversation by Using Contextual Technique through Animal toy and School Environment to the Seventh Grade students of MADRASAH DINIYAH WUSTHO,S-1 Thesis, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo.Advisor: (Dr. Sulistyaningsih, M.Pd and (2) Yudy Prasetyo M.Pd Key Words: Teaching Speaking, Contextual Technique, Animal Toy, Environment School There were students could not speak English although the students had learned English in a long time. This research was conducted by the researcher for knowing the implementation and the student’s ability to speak. The purpose of this research was The first, for knowing the ways of Teaching Speaking Conversation by using Contextual Technique Through Animal Toys and Environment School For Seventh Grade of MADRASAH DINIYAH WUSTHO Safinda Surabaya and The Second, for knowing the students’ ability. This research used Descriptive Qualitative Method for analyzing the data. The subject of this research was 30 (Thirty). The researcher used three instruments for getting result validity. The Instrument was Observation field note, Interview for the teacher and students score from the teacher. In finding of the Teaching Speaking Conversation by Using Contextual Technique through Animal Toys and Environment School research were made students more active and excited to speak. Based on the data, the researcher could conclude that Teaching Speaking Conversation by Using Contextual Technique through Animal Toys and Environment School could us teaching speaking. The students score increased although there were some students getting C score. The percent of the Students Score were A 17%, B 66% and C 17
